Lina DOTA tips

These tips are for playing the Slayer character:

• Having Lina use items doesn't turn on her Fiery Soul ability. It is only activated from spells the slayer casts and only stacks up to a maximum of 3 times. This skill replaced her old ultimate that greatly boosted attack speed for 30 seconds.
• Dragon Slave does damage to all units in a line area of effect. It's great for harassing early in a DOTA match. You can hurt enemy heroes and last hit at the same time.
  
• Using an item like a Guinsoo will let you disable enemies and set them up better for a Light Strike Array landing.
  
• Fiery Soul is fairly useless unless you break her DOTA animations. Lina has an extremely long casting speed which takes up much of the ability's attribute bonus duration.
  
• There is a half second cast delay on the Light Strike Array. This makes it hard to aim if you can't predict your enemy movements well.
  
• Many Lina players cast Light Strike Array shortly after an ally like King Leoric or Sven uses another stun. This makes the spell much easier to hit and prolongs the total disable time.
• Lina's devastating blast of energy from Laguna Blade is one of the best ways to finish off injured enmies. It is the most damaging single target spell in all of Defense of the Ancients. However, don't use it on any DOTA heroes that are almost dead unless they'll be getting away. You would be wasting a lot of the Slayer's damage that could've been done to someone else.
